The Linwood Center
A fun fall day trip to Pumpkinville!
The Linwood Center is a welcoming social group for adults over age 60 in Allegany, NY. While providing a fun and friendly environment for retirees, the Linwood Center is
also there for those who live alone and want the daily
companionship of others.
The center promotes an improved quality of life while
providing stimulating activities, and assistance with
personal care and case management when needed.
A healthy breakfast and lunch are offered daily. Scheduled events include exercise, games, armchair travel, live music, volunteer opportunities, and day trips.
Other Services include mind-stimulating therapeutic activities, socialization, assistance with personal care and case management.
The staff has a strong knowledge of and history working with people who have Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. These services promote an improved quality of life while providing support, respite, and guidance to family members and caregivers.
