Making a Difference in the Lives of the People We Support

The ReHabilitation Foundation financially  supports the ReHabilitation Center, Inc. when no other funding is available.

Through fundraising efforts and generous community support, The Rehabilitation Foundation has been providing much needed medical supplies, equipment and supplemental program funding since 1992. Make a Donation

Where the Money Goes

ReHab Center program support

We have funded needed supplies and equipment, bridged funding gaps in programs such as Lifeskills, offset the costs of recreational activities, and supported SubCon’s work center

Community Partnerships

In partnership with the YMCA of the Twin Tiers and “Swizzy’s Cause,” we have assisted in funding a behavioral health care coordinator located at the Olean YMCA. This position was established in hopes of reaching more people with behavioral health concerns, in a comfortable environment. Learn More

Aid for Families We Support

We have helped a family leave a domestic violence situation, funded fences and shatter-proof windows for autistic children so they could play safely, and purchased leg braces for a child with cerebral palsy.

Funds for the “We Remember Committee”

We have provided funding to a group of volunteers who maintain the grave sites of 35 individuals who previously lived in our group homes.

Staff scholarships & focused trainings

The Foundation facilitates an annual program that gives staff the opportunity to expand their knowledge, skill set and implement new program initiatives

Employment Support for the People We Serve

We have provided funding for clothing for people to be presentable in job interviews, as well as short-term transportation support to allow people to sustain their job.
