The ReHabilitation Center has initiated a significant effort to complete a comprehensive self-assessment process in preparation for an onsite review by the Council on Quality Leadership, CQL, in late fall of 2016.
Twenty different groups have been actively meeting to assess all operational indicators encompassed in the CQL Basic Assurances and Shared Values.
The CQL is a 40-year-old international not-for-profit organization dedicated to the definition, promotion, measurement, and improvement of personal and community quality of life for people with disabilities, people with mental illness and older adults.
Mari Howard, President and CEO of The Rehabilitation Center, indicated that, “achieving certification through an independent organization such as CQL, insures that our agency maintains a laser focus on our mission of, ‘enhancing the lives of people with disabilities through supports and services, while also maintaining high performance standards in all operational areas.’
“It is our intention to develop a long-term relationship with the Council on Quality Leadership to assure that tour agency consistently produces successful outcomes that are valued by each of our critical stakeholders.”
